Live blog CWSE 2019 | Day 1
And we’re off! This morning at 10.00 the Car Wash Show Europe at The Kromhouthal opened its doors. Sixty exhibitors, 2.500 visitors and over fifty nationalities are here in Amsterdam. Ten workshops and seminars will takes place over the next two days. Through this live blog we will keep you informed.
11:00 The hall is filling up. Exhibitors and visitors are meeting, conversation is buzzing and there is one big topic everyone is talking about: car wash!
12:30 The first workshops are starting. Cornelis van de Pol is a German machine builder and has been with Mr. Wash for 23 years. His talk (in German) is about personnel management. Before Van de Pol, Brian Madderson talked about the UK’s handwashing fight. At this moment Robert Andre is talking about how to increase your profit by improving your car wash site. This session runs until 16:00 in room 2.

18:00 Uhr: The Car Wash Craziness moved one house along to the Stork Restaurant. Housed in the same manufacturing building the restaurant belongs to Amsterdam’s popular scenery in the north. Our network dinner offers now the opportunity to attend to old contacts as well as making new ones. The Car Wash Hall of Fame Awards were awarded to Brian Madderson (Car Wash Association, United Kingdom) und Suzanne Huismann (Belgische Beroepsvereniging Reiniging Voertuigen, Belgium). Furthermore, Eric Wulf and Richard Enning (both ICA) thanked ProMedia for the successful organization and Eric Stern (BOVAG) for his resourceful and energetic support. This year’s Best Booth Award was awarded to ACE.
